 The China Huai’an Economic and Goodwill Delegation visited Air Change on 9th March 2007 to discuss the requirements of the exciting Eco-Agricity project.
The Province is planning to build a sustainable,environmental friendly, energy efficient and ecologically sustainable Eco-Agricity in Xuyi County of Jiangsu Province China. An important part of the investigations into the new township was how they could pioneer the use of premium Indoor Environmental Quality air conditioning.
The township development comprises of the satellite Eco-Agricity, an Australian dairy cattle site and milk factory, green vegetable farm, yabbie and aquaculture area, health food distribution centre, a populous plantation, fruit trees for landscaping plantation and a plantation and vineyard for wine production.
The satellite city area contains low energy and cost saving housing for local people and farmers, a health centre with high quality living area and training centre, built centred around a golf course, shopping and commercial areas, and Government and office district area.

The delegation was headed by Mr. Ding Jiemin, the Party’s Secretary of Huai’an Municipal People’s Government. Attending with the delegation was Jack Yao, Chairman of Eco-Agricity. Hometown of Zhou Enlai, Huai’an is a city of 5.28 million people, located in Jiangsu Province.
Herman Chiu, Engineering Manager of Air Change Manufacturing gave an overview of the technology to the delegation and conducted a factory tour to see a variety of air conditioning and ventilation units under construction.
The delegation considered Air Change technology fitted their requirements and immediately at the conclusion of the visit, invited Air Change to attend a 2nd meeting in May when the Treasurer of Australia will lead a top level Australian delegation to visit Huai’an Provence to discuss the Eco-Agricity project and Australian involvement.
The projects encompassed by the Eco-Agricity will also create employment opportunities for local farmers and there by improving the quality of lives and the living standards of those farmers. Jiangsu Province and the State of Victoria have a long standing relationship of Sister-States of over 27 years.
